Is it necessary to use water purifiers in Malaysia?

For drinking, Yes.
You need a water purifier to drink some water from kitchen faucets.(or lots of people here just buy water bottles to drink)

But for taking a shower? washing dishes?
It depends on where u live.

If your condo (or apartment) management has installed main water purifiers in the condo and managed them, you don't need to worry about water hygiene for taking a shower or washing dishes.

But unfortunatley, except for some condos or apartments, even though most condos have their own water purifiers, you need yours in your home for a shower.

Due to water pipes, most of you may face rusty water in your unit.

After pour water in a washbasin, watch the color.
The color of water can be kinda yellow or brown, then you need to install your own water purifiers in your unit for bath.

(Of course, if you think your skin is enough strong for that, u don't need them.)

In the cast that the color is transparent, you don't need water purifiers for bath.

You just need water to drink seperately.
